About Us
Serving our community since 1908, St. Joseph Academy is a Catholic educational organization sponsored by the Felician Sisters. Our mission is to educate children to be successful lifelong learners and problem solvers. We are guided by the Felician values for Ministry: Respect for Human Dignity, Compassion, Justice and Peace, Transformation and Solidarity with People In Need. We partner with families and community to fulfill this mission.
We are known for our one Academy, two programs approach. We offer an Early Childhood Education Center for children 6 weeks - 4 years old and a K4-8th grade school. Our mission is to educate children to be successful lifelong learners and problem solvers.
Located on Milwaukee, WI’s southside, we serve over 500 children annually. We serve an at-risk population of children. Ninety percent of our students identify as being in an ethnic minority. Forty-four percent of our students are English Language Learners.
We are recognized for excellence. Our Early Childhood is a 5 Star Young Star rated NAC accredited program and our K4-8th grade is a Choice school and is accredited with WRISA & Cognia.
